Do you remember when I wrote about mailing in my 4×6 for the Art House Co-op exchange? Well, I was pleased to open my mailbox today and find an envelope with a little bit of love from a stranger. I keep thinking about how my little piece of artwork has moved across the country, has passed through multiple sets of hands and was slipped into an envelope, sealed away. For all I know, it could very well be on its way to someone’s mailbox right now or sitting on someone’s coffee table next to his or her newspaper. I hope it found a good home. The 4×6 I received is now proudly hanging on my wall amidst many beautiful things that remind me everyday that being alive really is grand.

‘Cause I’m a snowfall kind of girl

I want a snowfall kind of love
The kind of love that quiets the world
I want a snowfall kind of love
‘Cause I’m a snowfall kind of girl
I want a snowfall kind of love
That lights up the sky from below
I want a snowfall kind of love
That brings people to their window
Won’t you bury me in your quiet love
Oh bury me in your quiet love
Bury me in your quiet love
And we will blow away
I want a snowfall kind of love
The kind of love that keeps you in bed all day
Oh I want to walk through with you
And watch it all melt away
Won’t you bury me in your quiet love
Oh bury me in your quiet love
Bury me in your quiet love
And we will blow away

I don’t have much at all to say. This sleep deprivation thing is not conducive to successful obligatory blogging, or at least that appears to be the case with me. I’ve had a stellar 26 hours and I’m pumped for this weekend. If monday could never come, I wouldn’t be that disappointed. So, what I mean to say by this is expect a stellar, blissful, post-concert blog tomorrow evening or sometime during the day and a couple of heavy posts Sunday and Monday. Anybody know what day I’m on? I have to check my calendar and figure that out. Someone remind me, deal? And for your listening pleasure:

Patrick, you never told me their music videos were well done.
See that, right there, Patrick?
A mention, just for you, my friend.

Meow.
