Yeehaw, Texas Rangers

For multiple years now, I have taken advantage of every opportunity to make the statement “There is nothing worse than a Journey sing-along.” I mean, really. The minute a group of people hears those opening chords, the anticipation builds and builds and with “Just a small-town girl…” I die a little inside. Tonight, however, the statement has been revised. The only thing I hate more than a Journey sing-along is the singing of God Bless America during the 7th-inning stretch. So, so bad. Cringe-worthy, I’d say. I can’t explain my abhorrence for a crowd of baseball fans belting out about the mountains and the prairies and the oceans and their foam, but alas, here we are.
In other news, I’m watching baseball. Antlers up. Yeehaw, Texas Rangers.
