This evening, I am thankful for the fast approaching summer. I’m thankful for the promise of much-needed time with wonderful people, a decent amount of sleep, snow cones, late movies, lake days, heavy conversations, and the feeling of not having a paper to write every stinkin’ day (but really). I’m thankful to know my year of blogging is dwindling down. I’m thankful for the day’s stellar surprises. I’m thankful for ukulele sing-alongs and afternoons reading Joan Didion in the grass.
I’m thankful for beautiful sunsets and everything they represent.
